AW Exley was an author of historical fantasy novels who lived in rural New Zealand. She combined her love of history, and particularly Egyptology, with fierce heroines and men strong enough to win their hearts. Between 2013 and 2020 she published a number of novels, but was best known for the Artifact Hunters series.
